Every parent wants to provide the best opportunities for their child. The way that each parent does this varies in form. On my journey, I knew that I wanted to provide my son with a Montessori education. As a former Montessori and public education student, with a PhD in Education, I have done my fair share of studying educational systems. I believe there is no one-size-fits all to education. What works for my family might not work for your family. This blog is about my journey to create a home Montessori environment for my child on the cheap. I wanted to provide a Montessori environment but I can (1) not afford private school and (2) can not afford to buy top of the line materials. My materials are most likely made from materials I found around the house, in the garage or at a thrift store. Education does not have to be expensive, but it does need to be intentional. I hope this blog inspires you to follow your own goals and set your own intentions.
